In this exhibition you will learn about the genuine work of the Umayyads in the production of their guadamecí, which became world famous for their aesthetic quality and astonishing beauty. The guadamecí was a highly prized piece that depicted vegetal and geometric motifs. It consisted of gilding the skins and then polychroming and ironing them, and was used almost exclusively to decorate important houses and palaces.
