„Hören wie es früher einmal war“ – Erzählcafe im Rahmen der Denkmaltage
Sie waren früher „zum kickern in der Synagoge“? Sie hatten Freunde, Bekannte, oder haben selbst in der heutigen Kleinen Synagoge gelebt?
Vor dem Umbau zum heutigen Museum wurde die Alte Synagoge gastronomisch genutzt, die Kleine Synagoge war ein Wohnhaus. Aus dieser Zeit sind fast keine Beschreibungen und Fotos bekannt. Deshalb findet im Rahmen der Denkmaltage am 07.09.23 von 17:00 – 20:00 Uhr ein Erzählcafe in der Kleinen Synagoge statt. Um die Dokumentation der Bau- und Entdeckungsgeschichte der beiden Häuser zu komplettieren werden Augenzeugenberichte und Bildmaterial gesucht. Von Interesse sind Ihre Erinnerungen und Geschichten, die kleinen Erlebnisse, die vom Alltag in den Gebäuden vor der Sanierung erzählen. Das Team der Alten und Kleinen Synagoge würde sich beispielsweise über Fotos vom Innen- und Außenraum sehr freuen! 2024 wird daraus eine Sonderausstellung entstehen, die von den besonderen Entdeckungsgeschichten und Erlebnissen erzählt.

Da es sich bei Kaffee und Kuchen leichter erzählt, ist auch dafür am 07.09. gesorgt. Wir freuen uns auf Ihre Unterstützung!

“Listening to how it used to be” – Storytelling Café as part of the Monument Days
You used to go to the synagogue “to kick the ball around”? You had friends, acquaintances, or have lived in today’s Little Synagogue yourself?
Before the reconstruction into today’s museum, the Old Synagogue was used for gastronomy, the Small Synagogue was a residential building. Almost no descriptions and photos are known from that time. Therefore, as part of the monument days on 07.09.23 from 17:00 – 20:00 a storytelling cafe will be held in the Small Synagogue. In order to complete the documentation of the construction and discovery history of the two houses eyewitness accounts and visual material are sought. Of interest are your memories and stories, the little experiences that tell of everyday life in the buildings before the renovation. The team of the Old and Small Synagogue would be very happy to receive photos of the interior and exterior, for example! In 2024, this will be turned into a special exhibition that tells of the special stories of discovery and experiences.

As it is easier to tell stories over coffee and cake, this will also be provided for on 07.09. We look forward to your support!
