In 2021, the Murska Sobota Provincial and Study Library is implementing a project of cataloguing Jewish books that we kept in the library's depots or received as a gift during the implementation of the project. The prayer books are in Hebrew, Hungarian and / or German. The books are a valuable legacy of the local and regional Jewish community before World War II. Most of the books were published between 1836 and 1942, and some of them are antique books that were published until 1835. At the event, we will present the results of the project to the general public and open an exhibition of the Jewish collection. The date may be changed.
