This concert is part of the 21st edition of the International Sephardic Music Festival of Córdoba. The group presents its programme "Makeda, la Reina del Sur" ("Makeda, the Queen of the South"). It is a musical proposal in which she rescues the traditional Jewish music of Abyssinia using as a pretext to pay homage to Queen Sheba. Sara Habasha is a singer from Ethiopia and a researcher of both contemporary and ancient music from the three books. She has dedicated herself to learning world music and music from other frontiers such as Yemen, Sudan and Somalia. Voice: Sara Habasha; Lute and Viola: Wafir S. Gibril; Percussion: Salah Sabbagh.
