European Days of Jewish Culture has become a tradition for LEOLAM Foundation in Moinești. Since 2017, we try each 5th of September to mark this special occasion with celebrations and unique events which show in a new and surprising light the Jewish Heritage still existing in Moinești. After such a long period of isolation and restrictions, there is a need more than ever for real dialogue, emerging from human connection and genuine talk. In 2021, LEOLAM continues to organize its traditional Open Doors at the Cemetery and waits for visitors to come and share with them stories about the place and its history. Mihaela Rusu, a member of the foundation, is going to be the guide of the day and she will also provide resources for visitors about the upcoming Jewish Autumn Holidays.
