On the occasion of the forthcoming celebration of the 9th Sephardic Autumn included in THE EUROPEAN DAY OF JEWISH CULTURE, La Vidriera Teatro proposes the show "Yo, Maimonides", based on the book of the same title by Juan Félix Bellido, to bring the figure of this closer to Cordovan illustrious in the time and space that he had to live. It accompanies the biography of Maimonides, dramatized poems from the 10th to the 12th centuries by different Hebrew poets that illustrate the staging. Andalusian Hebrew poetry is one of the richest and least known literary facets of the Hispanic Middle Ages. In our montage, the particular history of the Jewish people converge with the social and cultural circumstances of Al-Andalus, parallel to the awakening and flourishing of the moments of greatest splendor of this people.
