In 2021, the Murska Sobota Regional and Study Library implemented a cataloging project of Jewish books that were kept in the library's depot or were given as a gift during the implementation of the project. The books are a valuable legacy of the local and regional Jewish community before the Second World War, as most of them were published between 1836 and 1942, and some even before 1835. The books are now part of the new Jewish collection of the Murska Sobota Regional and Study Library.
