SALOM STREET – contemporary Jewish cultural and arts festival
—
You can't do it alone!
We are slowly becoming a tradition, as this year we are organizing our third street festival on the first Sunday of September on Csányi Street. We are holding it on this day for the third time because since 1999, the first Sunday of September has been European Jewish Culture Day in the European Union: Jews and non-Jews celebrate it together in dozens of cities, towns, and communities!
This year, KULT7 has joined forces with the Erzsébetváros Local Government, so we are presenting the most exciting and colorful program yet on the chosen theme, which is the same throughout Europe: PEOPLE OF THE BOOK.
This year, it is perhaps even more important to emphasize that we are organizing this together. Jews and non-Jews, civilians and non-civilians, outsiders and insiders, but the point is that we are all together. There are not only practical reasons for this, but we are also doing it because we know that we have a common future. We will only be able to solve our problems together, which is why it is important that we share our joys with each other as well.
On behalf of the organizers, we invite you to Csányi Street in Erzsébetváros, which we are calling Sálom Street.
We invite you, your children, your partners, your parents and even your mothers-in-law. In other words, the whole mispohe!
Let's meet on Csányi Street on September 7, 2025!
