A Bisale Mazl – A Bit of Luck – Egy kis mázli: Day of Jewish Culture, concerts of Jewish music

18.00–20.00: “Almonds and Raisins”, evening of chansons with Vita Mavrič and the Kvartet Akord. The programme will begin with an introductory address by the President of the Hungarian Self-Governing National Community of Pomurje, Dušan Orban, and a dance performance by children from a bilingual kindergarten in Domanjševci.

20.00–22.00: “Evening of Jewish Music”, concert by Isabel Frey (Vienna, Austria) and the Styrian Klezmore Orchestra (Graz, Austria). The introduction to the musical evening will be accompanied by an address speech by Sonja Reiser-Weinzettl, director of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Ljubljana. The programme will be moderated by the television journalist Igor E. Bergant.

The festival “A Bisale Mazl – A Bit of Luck – Egy kis mázli 2024”, which will start at 14.00 in Šalovci, will continue with a rich cultural and musical programme in the afternoon in Domanjševci. The afternoon programme will start with an introductory address by the President of the Pomurje Hungarian Self-Governing National Community, Dušan Orban, and a dance performance by children from the bilingual kindergarten in Domanjševci. This will be followed by a concert of chansons by the renowned Slovenian actress and chansonnier Vita Mavrič with her programme “Almonds and Raisins”, in which she will present Jewish chansons translated by Dr Klemen Jelinčič Boeta and Milan Dekleva. Vita Mavrič will be accompanied by the group Kvartet Akord. Finally, the day will be rounded off with concerts by musical guests from Austria, i.e. by a rising musical star Isabel Frey from Vienna and renowned Styrian Klezmore Orchestra under the direction of clarinettist Moritz Weiß from Graz. The orchestra delights music connoisseurs by playing klezmer, as well as Roma, Balkan and other ethnic music from the wider Central and Southern European region. Before the concerts begin, Sonja Reiser-Weinzettl, Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Ljubljana, will give an address. In addition, an exhibition of Julij Gyula Schönauer’s photographs will be opened, as well.

A Bisale Mazl – Košček sreče – Egy kis mázli: dan judovske kulture, koncerti judovske glasbe

18.00–20.00: »Mandeljni in rozine«, večer šansonov z Vito Mavrič in Kvartetom Akord. Program se bo začel z uvodnim nagovorom predsednika Pomurske madžarske samoupravne narodne skupnosti Dušana Orbana in plesnim nastopom otrok iz dvojezičnega vrtca v Domanjševcih.

20.00–22.00: »Večer judovske glasbe«, koncert Isabel Frey (Dunaj) in orkestra Styrian Klezmore Orchestra (Gradec). Uvod v glasbeni večer bo pospremil nagovor Sonje Reiser-Weinzettl, direktorice Avstrijskega kulturnega foruma v Ljubljani. Program bo povezoval televizijski novinar Igor E. Bergant.

Dan judovske kulture / Jiddis Kulturális Fesztivál »A Bisale Mazl ali Košček sreče / Egy kis mázli«, ki se bo začel ob 14. uri v Šalovcih, se bo z bogatim kulturno-glasbenim programom v popoldanskih urah nadaljeval v Domanjševcih. Uvod v popoldansko dogajanje bo zaznamovan z nagovorom predsednika Pomurske madžarske samoupravne narodne skupnosti Dušana Orbana in s plesnim nastopom otrok iz dvojezičnega vrtca v Domanjševcih. Sledil bo koncert šansonov priznane slovenske igralke in šansonjerke Vite Mavrič s programom »Mandeljni in rozine«, v katerem bo predstavila judovske šansone v prevodu dr. Klemena Jelinčiča Boete in Milana Dekleve. Spremljal jo bo Kvartet Akord. Celodnevno dogajanje bosta zaokrožila koncerta glasbenih gostov iz Avstrije. Pred začetkom koncertov bo obiskovalce nagovorila Sonja Reiser-Weinzettl, direktorica Avstrijskega kulturnega foruma v Ljubljani, nato pa bodo lahko obiskovalci prisluhnili vzhajajoči glasbeni zvezdi Isabel Frey z Dunaja skupaj z uveljavljenim ansamblom Styrian Klezmore Orchestra pod vodstvom klarinetista Moritza Weißa iz Gradca. Orkester glasbene sladokusce navdušuje s preigravanjem klezmerja, pa tudi romske in balkanske glasbe ter glasbe drugih etničnih skupnosti širšega prostora srednje in južne Evrope. Ob tem bo odprta tudi razstava del fotografa Julija Schönauerja.
