The Oslo Jewish Museum kicks off the European Days of Jewish Culture 2023 with klezmer music in the museum!

Beer, wine and snacks will be sold during the event.

Preßburger Klezmer Band was founded in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1995. The band serves emotional klezmer music – traditional Jewish melodies sung in Yiddish, Slovak and English are mixed with music from the Balkans and oriental music. The music is supplemented with elements of Slovak folk music, interspersed with elements from both jazz, rock, reggae and Latino.

The band’s members are:

Andrej Werner – violin and vocals
Valér Miko – piano
Jano Oriško – percussion
Snežana Jović-Werner – accordion and lead vocals
