The House Party at Mietek Weinberg’s is an event that takes place every year by the wall of the tenement house at 66 Żelazna Street in Warsaw – Weinberg’s family home.
The project consists of several events:

Friday 1 September 2023
🕰️ 6 pm PROLOGUE opening of Agnieszka Stępka's photography exhibition "Mietek Weinberg's House" (Norblin Factory)

PART(Y) 1
Saturday 2 September 2023
🚲 10.30 am bicycle tour: route based on our Warsaw Walkabout with Weinberg
combined with a visit to the Norblin Factory and musical intervention by Maria Sławek;
🍎 1 – 3 pm culinary workshops in the Fani Lewando Culinary Studio (Polin Museum)
🕍 3 – 4.30 pm visiting Polin Museum: Warsaw by Mieczyslaw Weinberg

Sunday 3 September 2023
🎻🎹 5 – 6 pm concert at the wall of the tenement house at Żelazna 66 (Mieczysław Weinberg birthplace); outdoor event
Marcin Zdunik – cello
Aleksander Dębicz – piano
program consists of works inspired by Polish national dances by M. Weinberg, S. Laks, W. Szpilman as well as improvisations on selected themes from Jewish- Polish folk music

🎵 6.30 – 8 pm improvisation workshops / jam session (Norblin Factory)
