Jewish Community Belgrade takes part in this manifestation from the very beginning and we are looking forward to the EDJC 2026 edition.
For our first and central event we have chosen to organize EDJC 2026 opening event in the Belgrade synagogue.
Following the theme for 2026 “Love אהבה“ we are organizing a concert of Jewish love songs and compositions, performed by various artists and presented in a variety of arrangements. The concert is a compilation of traditional, synagogue melodies and modern compositions – from prayer and poetry to contemporary music.
At the opening event, we will present the exhibition from the National Library of Israel, translated to Serbian, and announce the events that will take place as part of the European Days of Jewish Culture 2026 program, scheduled for September and October.
