Alfred Fischer (Osijek, 1904. – Budapest, 1945.),
The installation of the "Stumbling stone" was prompted by Alfred Fischer's son, Darko Fischer, who survived the Holocaust as a child. It will be the first Stolpersteine in Osijek.

The laying of the Stolpersteine is organized by the Center for promoting tolerance and preserving the memory of the Holocaust, together with the Jewish Community of Osijek and Municipality of Osijek.
