Women. Stories of Women Who Influenced the World, documentary exhibition of the Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava

The Museum of Jewish Culture in Bratislava, which operates under the auspices of the Slovak National Museum, once again presents itself to the visitors of the Synagogue Maribor: this time with the exhibition “Women. Stories of Women Who Influenced the World”. This exhibition tells the story of inspiring women of Jewish origin who are connected to today’s Slovak territory – whether they were born there, lived there or were of Slovak origin – and whose work has also reached the international arena. The selection of the personalities presented at the exhibition was quite a challenge, and the authors of the exhibition focused on representatives from various fields of science and art and from the business world. Their “list” is far from exhaustive, but they tried to choose stories that will attract you and will be interesting to you.

Ženske. Zgodbe žensk, ki so vplivale na svet, gostujoča dokumentarna razstava Muzeja judovske kulture iz Bratislave

Z razstavo »Ženske. Zgodbe žensk, ki so vplivale na svet« se v Mariboru znova predstavlja Muzej judovske kulture iz Bratislave, ki deluje pod okriljem Slovaškega narodnega muzeja. Razstava pripoveduje o navdihujočih ženskah judovskega porekla, ki so povezane z današnjim slovaškim ozemljem – bodisi so bile tam rojene, so tam živele ali pa so bile slovaškega porekla – in katerih delo je seglo tudi v mednarodni prostor. Izbor na razstavi predstavljenih osebnosti je bil kar precejšen izziv, avtorji razstave pa so se pri tem osredotočili na predstavnice z različnih področij znanosti in umetnosti in iz poslovnega sveta. Njihov »seznam« še zdaleč ni izčrpen, vendar so poskušali izbrati zgodbe, ki vas bodo pritegnile in bodo za vas zanimive.
