Under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic Borut Pahor, the House of Tolerance Festival will be held in Ljubljana for the seventh year in a row. The festival will offer visitors of all ages a visual walk-through different worlds, centuries and current issues. The festival films will show the vividness of unusual experiences and open discussions about migration, gender and prejudice in our society and in societies around the world. In addition, the festival raises questions: Can we ignore history? What does history mean? It can be memory, it can be ignorance, but it can also be learning and fun. Exciting original films about the personal and individual experiences of women, men and children teach us about the challenges of today and help us understand them. This year's reading of exceptional films is not only about unique stories, emotional conflicts, love, and lust, but also about accepting cultural, ethnic, religious and sexual identities, and about accepting individual responsibilities.
