In 2022, Regensburg will take part in the Europe-wide Day of Jewish Culture for the third time under the leadership of the Remembrance and Commemoration Office of the City of Regensburg together with the Jewish Community. In Regensburg, Jewish history dates back to the 10th century.

With a small exhibition on the topics of architecture, culinary arts, literature and language, an art participation activity for young and old, guided tours, a Jewish puppet theater, a communication workshop, a living library with original documents from the city´s archive, the open library of the synagogue, a food stand and the rabbi of the Jewish community, who awaits you in the courtyard of the community center, we invite you to inform yourself about various aspects of the Jewish community, culture, history and tradition and to exchange ideas.
