The Jewish New Year, which falls in the same month as the European Days of Jewish Culture, begins with the festivals of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. They are about reflection, renewal or even a “new beginning”.

Reflection and renewal are also what the current exhibition “Taxidermied Jews?” is about: The exhibition reflects on the history and present of the institution “Jewish Museum,” its collections and canon, and the pressing question of its social role in the future.
