In the beginning of the 21st century, Jewish organizations in the town united. They created a single structure, a communal house. Rybnitsa had a number of features. It practically did not suffer during the conflicts of the early 90s. On the other hand, there is a metallurgical plant and a number of other enterprises that are of particular importance for the local economy. The average salary in Rybnitsa was much higher than in all surrounding regions. This allowed the local Jews to establish a community and help services.
The house is the property of the community center. It is a one-story building with a large number of rooms and a yard. Welfare center “Hesed Rachel” continues to assist to needy Jews of Rybnitsa and surrounding villages. The center combines cultural and social programs. The Center received support, including from former residents of Rybnitsa, to carry out work to preserve places of memory for the victims of the Holocaust.
