This year we are organizing the Sólet Festival in Miskolc for the 4th time. Every year more and more visitors come to the event. This year's
event will take place in September, similarly to the previous ones, in the courtyard of the synagogue.
In addition to several types of sólet, we also welcome guests with 􀀁ódni, who can taste these traditional Jewish dishes.
In addition to gastronomy, we also provide cultural programs for visitors. In addition to programs and concerts for adults, we also try to attract
the younger generation, and we prepare a separate program for children every year.
The goal of the event is to bring the Jewish residents of our city and those of other religions, as well as the tourists visiting, closer to each
other.

Flavors of Love: Discovering Jewish Heritage Through the Autumn Holidays is a community cultural festival dedicated to exploring Jewish heritage through the traditions, foods, and values of the Jewish autumn holiday season.
Inspired by the 2026 CEJH theme LOVE, the festival highlights how food serves as a universal expression of care, hospitality, family connection, and cultural continuity. Through the celebration of Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah, participants will discover how Jewish traditions have been preserved and passed from generation to generation.
The festival will feature culinary workshops, traditional food tastings, interactive exhibitions, children’s activities, storytelling sessions, and cultural presentations introducing visitors to the symbolism of holiday foods and customs. Community members will share family recipes and personal stories, creating opportunities for dialogue between generations and people from different cultural backgrounds.

Gemeinsam zu essen verbindet. Und: Was und wie wir essen, zeigt, wer wir sind und woher wir kommen.
In diesem Koscherkochkurs lernt ihr spielerisch die Grundlagen der jüdischen Speisegesetze kennen.
Wir kochen und backen leckere Gerichte aus der jüdischen Küche – und natürlich genießen wir anschließend zusammen die Früchte unserer Arbeit.

Die Musikerin, Pädagogin und jüdische Referentin Maria Becker bietet seit vielen Jahren in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen Bildungsträgern Projekte an, die sich mit spannenden Themen beschäftigen und immer genau auf die jeweilige Zielgruppe zugeschnitten sind.

Ateliers culinaires autour de la cuisine juive pour découvrir les saveurs et les histoires qui les accompagnent. Une occasion gourmande d’aborder les traditions, les fêtes et la transmission familiale autour des plats. 3 ateliers de 14 à 18 heures

This interactive event invites people of all backgrounds to discover Jewish culture through food. Inside the Magdeburg Synagogue, participants will prepare traditional Jewish dishes while learning about Kashrut (Jewish dietary laws) and the cultural stories behind the recipes. The event concludes with a shared meal in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. The goal is to foster dialogue, understanding, and connection within the local community.#

Please note that for this project we will only need 600 Euros. Unfortunately it was not possoble to submit the application because of some technical problems.

ESPACIO 1: Parque Arqueológico y Sinagoga. ¿Has estado alguna vez en una judería dentro de un castillo? Ahora tienes la oportunidad de hacerlo y conocer los motivos que llevaron a una importante comunidad judía a construir una sinagoga dentro de las murallas del Castillo de Lorca.

ESPACIO 2: La Torre Alfonsina. ¿Qué harías si pudieses viajar al pasado y fueses Rey en el siglo XIII? Alfonso X el Sabio estuvo varias veces en Lorca y tomó la decisión de levantar en el castillo una torre del homenaje: la Torre Alfonsina.
