Our programme explores the theme of ‘The People of the Book’, which lends itself to a huge range of potential events, whether real or virtual. All of these interpretations offer a wealth of opportunities for open days, talks, virtual guided walks and online exhibitions.

You can't do it alone!

We are slowly becoming a tradition, as this year we are organizing our third street festival on the first Sunday of September on Csányi Street. We are holding it on this day for the third time because since 1999, the first Sunday of September has been European Jewish Culture Day in the European Union: Jews and non-Jews celebrate it together in dozens of cities, towns, and communities!

This year, KULT7 has joined forces with the Erzsébetváros Local Government, so we are presenting the most exciting and colorful program yet on the chosen theme, which is the same throughout Europe: PEOPLE OF THE BOOK.
This year, it is perhaps even more important to emphasize that we are organizing this together.

Le Centre Medem-Arbeter Ring propose de contribuer directement à l’édition 2025 des Journées Européennes de la Culture Juive, en enregistrant dans ses locaux, vos ressentis, vos réflexions, vos impressions, votre opinion sur ce livre.
L’idée majeure est de donner envie de faire découvrir le livre que vous avez choisi de présenter.
Les prochaines séances d’enregistrement de ces petits films (d’environ 1’30’’) sont prévues dans les locaux du 52 rue René Boulanger 75010 Paris :

Journée BD au musée

Pour la 9e édition de son salon du livre, le mahJ propose une grande journée festive dédiée à la bande dessinée ! Genre auquel le mahJ accorde une place importante depuis sa création. En 1995, avant même son ouverture, le musée présentait, hors les murs, une exposition consacrée au chef-d’œuvre Maus d’Art Spiegelman. Suivirent quatre expositions majeures « De Superman au Chat du rabbin », « Les mondes de Gotlib », « René Goscinny. Au-delà du rire » et Joann Sfar.
Un programme riche en surprises pour toute la famille met à l’honneur la bande dessinée et le roman graphique : le salon du livre avec une trentaine d’auteurs et de bédéistes en dédicace, des rencontres dans les salles autour du dessin, des ateliers en famille, une rencontre à l’auditorium et la traditionnelle braderie de livres.

The 2025 edition of the EDJC in Alsace and Territoire de Belfort offers the public more than 60 activities in 37 cities and villages.
Activities include: open doors, guided tours, lectures, concerts, and theater performances.

The Klezmer festival A Bisale Mazl or A Bit of Luck/ Egy kis mázli, which will begin in Šalovci, will continue with a rich cultural and musical program in Domanjševci. Robert Waltl, director of the Mini Theatre from Ljubljana, will stage a puppet show for youth and adults based on the book by the famous Jewish writer Isak Babel, Stories from Odessa / The Story of My Dovecote.
