Wydarzenie rozpoczną przemówienia otwierające, a po nich odbędzie się koncert Razem | צוזאַמען | Razem | Разом | ביחד Jurija Wedenjapina. W repertuarze artysty znajdą się utwory w języku polskim, jidysz i ukraińskim.

Na zakończenie wydarzenia wysłuchamy dęcia w Szofar w wykonaniu Moshe Yaakov Kisa.

Europejskie Dni Kultury Żydowskiej (European Days of Jewish Culture) to ogólnoeuropejskie wydarzenie mające na celu przedstawienie zróżnicowania i bogactwa kultury żydowskiej jak najszerszej publiczności, zarówno na poziomie lokalnym, narodowym, jak i europejskim.

Part I. 120 years after the Chisinau Pogrom. The world premiere of the symphony "Pogrom in Chisinau in 1903", composer Dumitru Miller (Israel), with the support of the National Symphony Orchestra of "TeleRadio Moldova", conductor – professor, academician, People's Artist of Moldova Gheorghe Mustea.
Part II. Program of Israeli, European and klezmer music with the support of soloists from Israel and the Republic of Moldova and the TeleRadio Moldova Orchestra, conducted by Ilie Rotila (Moldova) and Dumitru Miller (Israel).

This will be a unique concert featuring new compositions by Maja Elliott mixed with a variety of Jewish music on the theme of memory, loss and exile. Outstanding musicians Elliott and Sam Wright will be joined by Dylan Gully, a much sought after musician of Jewish music in Brussels and France.

The premiere of Maja Elliott’s new work Hanna Suite for double bass and clarinet will have Sephardic songs, Morenika and Los Bilbilicos (the nightingales) interwoven around the movements of the suite. Dedicated to her friend Hanna, it is about love, memory, loss, memory and identity.

Maja will also perform Meraviglia, her composition based on the Balkans 11/8 rhythm.

Maribor's ethno-klezmer band Kontra-Kvartet is a group that is actively and creatively engaged in playing the traditional music of the Eastern European Ashkenazis. Their performances are always energetic and conjure up the charm of Eastern European dance rhythms, especially those that we don't hear so often. Kontra-Kvartet, which in recent years is actually a quintet, presented their music at various festivals and in synagogues in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Italy, Austria and Serbia, and they also performed at the biggest festival klezmer music in Israel. The members of the band Kontra-Kvartet are Vesna Čobal (violin), Daniel Marinič (accordion), Domen Marn (clarinet), Petar Marić (guitar) and Branko Smrtnik (double bass).

On September 15, 2023, after sundown, Jews will begin celebrating this year's Rosh Hashanah, or Jewish New Year. At the same time, they will enter the year 5784. According to the Jewish calendar, Rosh Hashanah is celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of Tishri (the seventh month of the Jewish calendar), and with it begins the 10-day period until Yom Kippur (the day of atonement or the holiday of reconciliation, repentance and forgiveness ), in which the individual should, among other things, take a thorough look at himself and reflect on his past actions and what kind of person he wants to be. The reception on Rosh Hashanah 2023 in the Graz synagogue will be brightened up by the Israeli-German musician, singer and songwriter Yael Nachshon Levin with an accompanying band.

With the day of Jewish culture / Jiddis Kulturális Fesztivál, which the organizers named A Bisale Mazl or A piece of happiness / Egy kis mázli, in Šalovci and Domanjševci they will revive the memory of Jewish families who once lived in the area of today's Šalovci Municipality. The one-day event will start at 12:00 in front of the municipal building at the address Šalovci 161, at the place where special commemorative cobblestones (also stumbling blocks or originally Stolpersteine) were laid in 2022 in memory of Šalovci Jewish photographer Juli Gyula Schönauer and his family. Concert del pianista Toni Costa a la casa d'Avraham Xalom del call de Tàrrega amb el seu espectacle Sefarad al piano on oferirà versions adaptades al piano de música tradicional sefardita de la diàspora. Es duran a terme 2 sessions de 40 minuts a les 12 i les 13 hores dl diumenge 3 de setembre.

Toni Costa és pianista i improvisador. Amb un perfil artístic agresolat es forma en música clássica i antiga així com en jazz i músiques d’arrel. És pianista acompanyant de dansa a l’IEA Oriol Martorell de Barcelona y col•labora amb el Ballet de l’òpera de Ginebra i el Ballet de l’òpera de Lió, entre altres. Paral•lelament, desenvolupa projectes com a solista en relació a la memòria històrica, revitalitzant músiques antigues i posant en valor el patrimoni cultural del seu país.
