International Jewish Culture festival “SHALOM IN ALL THE WORLD”

The International Festival of Jewish culture “Shalom in All The World” saluts the Klaipėda!

This year's Intarnational Jewish Culture Festival „SHALOM IN ALL THE WORLD“ focuses on the Jewish woman, her role and importance in history, culture, traditions, social life.
When we talk about a traditional Jewish woman, what comes to mind is a woman who is intelligent, constantly busy with various affairs, manages the household wisely, strictly adheres to the essential precepts intended only for her, and is devoted to raising children. In fact, it is actually not uncommon for her to earn money for a living, as her husband is constantly studying the Torah.
In history, we will meet many more than one Jewish woman who did not want to live acording to the principle: "The public space belongs to the man, the home space belongs to the woman".
